BUOYANT BAGGIES CLINCH TITLE

The climax to the Coca-Cola Championship season was as exciting as the pre match billing suggested it would be.
West Brom clinch the title with a win at QPR and are joined by Stoke through automatic promotion.
The Baggies had Do-Heon Kim and Chris Brunt firing them to the title as Tony Mowbray's side return to top-flight football.
Stoke go up after taking the point they needed against Leicester, who were relegated in the process as Southampton won a thriller at St Mary's against Sheffield United. Saints went behind to a Stephen Quinn goal but Richard Wright's outstanding save just beford half time then saw Saints equalise through Marek Saganowski. Stern John scored his 18th goal of the season on 53 minutes but substitute Jon Stead put Saints back in to the relegation zone when he equalised on 65 minutes. John then became hero and villian as he put Saints back in front just four minutes later before being sent off for his second bookable offence. Nigel Pearson's side held on and survive on the last day.
Amazingly, Coventry, who were hammered 4-1 at Charlton, would have been relegated if Leicester had nicked a late goal. Luke Varney and Andy Gray put The Addicks ahead before Michael Mifsud pulled one back, all in the opening 20 minutes. Grant basey and Chris Powell added second half goals as the Sky Blues survived on the last day.
Sheffield Wednesday easied their relegation worries with an emphatic 4-1 over Norwich, after Darren Huckerby had put the Canaries ahead. A Deon Burton brace and goals from on loan Chelsea striker Ben Sahar and Ex Wolves man Leon Clarke gave The Owls maximum points.
Hull will have to settle for the play off after they went down at Portman Road to an Alan Lee goal against Ipswich, who miss out on the play off by a point.
Hull will face Watford, who were held to a draw at Blackpool. Tommy Smith's goal for the Hornet's cancelling out Ben Burgess' second minute strike.
In the other Play Off Semi Final, Bristol City will face Crystal Palace. Both sides were amongst the goals on the last day.
SOCCER X INTERVIEWEE LEE TRUNDLE scored Bristol City's opener before Michael Mcindoe and David Noble netted in the 3-0 win over Preston.
Palace were the top scorers on the last day as Ben Watson, Victor Moses, Tom Soares, Scott Sinclair and Clinton Morrison were on target as they went nap against Burnley.
Wolves also just miss out on the Play Off despite Seyi Olofinjana's goal that defeated Plymouth at Molineux.
Cup Finalists Cardiff warmed up with an easy 3-0 win over Barnsley. Paul Parry, Kevin McNaughton and Joe Ledley on the scoresheet.
Scunthorpe and Colchester shared a six-goal thriller at Glanford Park as both relegated clubs enjoyed their last day in the Championship. A Kevin McLeod double, plus a Scott Vernon strike had put the visitors in the lead by they were pegged back by goals from Jon Fortune and a Paul Hayes brace.
League One - Sat May 3rd
FOREST GAIN PROMOTION
Nottingham Forest were winners and Bournemouth and Gillingham losers on the final day of the Coca-Cola League One season.
Forest netted three times in the opening 28 minutes with Julian Bennett, Kris Commons and Lewis McGugan on target against Yeovil. Jamie Peters and Andy Kirk scored for the visitors but it's Colin Calderwood's men who celebrate being in the Championship next season.
Forest leapfrogged Doncaster, who were beaten at Cheltenham as John Ward's side avoided relegation. Steve Gillespie and Paul Connor fired the goals to keep the Robins up as Paul Green netted for Sean O'Driscoll's team, who now have to make do with a Play Off place.
Carlisle had Scott Dobie on the scoresheet as they relegated Bournemouth in the 1-1 draw. Brett Pitman was on target for the Cherries.
Gillingham were also relegated as they went down to a 2-1 loss at Leeds United. Ex Rushden & Diamonds striker Simeon Jackson had given the Gills the lead, but Bradley Johnson and a late Tresor Kandol effort gave the Elland Road club victory.
The Play Off line up sees Doncaster play Southend, while Carlisle take on Leeds.
Febian Brandy scored as Champions Swansea wrapped up a fantastic season with a 1-0 win against Brighton at the Withdean.
Crewe narrowly avoided relegation despite getting hammered 4-1 at home by Oldham. Dean Smalley, a Neil Eardley double and a Gary McDonald strike put the visitors in command long before Steve Jones' late consolation.
Leyton Orient were also amongst the goals as the smashed three past Bristol Rovers. Wayne Gray, Adam Boyd and Jabo Ibehre netted for the O's while the prolific Rickie Lambert scored for Paul Trollope's outfit.
Relegated Luton went down to a Phil Jevons strike for Huddersfield, but they were pipped to nineth in the league by Northampton, who beat Tranmere 2-1. Cobblers men Adebayo Akinfenwa and Poul Hubertz scored either side of Chris Greenacre's effort for the visitors.
James Walker equalised for Southend against Port Vale six minutes from time after David Mulligan had given the visitors the lead.
Ben Clark left it much later for Hartlepool to grab a draw at Walsall. Michael Dobson and Tommy Mooney had put the home side two up in the opening fifteen minutes before Michael Mackay pulled a goal back. Clark appeared in the 93rd minute to grab a point for Danny WIlson's side.
Swindon came from behind with goals from Simon Cox and Anthony McNamee against Millwall, who had Danny Senda firing home.
League Two - Sat May 3rd
The Semi Final Play Off line up for Coca-Cola League Two was decided on the final day with Stockport now due to play Wycombe and Rochdale facing Darlington.
MK Dons were awarded the League Two title as they finished with a 1-1 draw against Morecambe. Aaron Wilbraham put the Dons ahead before Michael Twiss levelled twelve minutes from time.
Darlington won at Runners-Up Peterborough thanks to goals by Jason Kennedy and Michael Cummins.
Third place Hereford finished the season on a high as they defeated Grimsby with Ben Smith and Theo Robinson on the scoresheet.
Play Off boys Stockport and Wycombe both won on the last day when they beat Brentford and Bradford respectively. Gianluca Havern scored the only goal of the game in the Stockport game, while Delroy Facey and Leon Knight netted for Wycombe at Adams Park. Luke Medley was on song for Bradford. Rochdale were held to a draw by Shrewsbury as the Spotland club's Chris Dagnall cancelled out Asa Hall's earlier effort.
Chester and Macclesfield shared a goalless draw while Chesterfield and Notts County also shared the spoils. Spencer Weir-Daly opened the scoring for the visitors before hitman Jack Lester levelled for the Saltergate side.
Jamie Green scored Rotherham's winner as they beat Barnet at Millmoor.
Mansfield bowed out of the Football League with a defeat at Dagenham & Redbridge, who had Ben Strevens and Paul Benson on target.
Meanwhile, Wrexham's swansong saw them net four times in the win at Lincoln City. Levi Macken and Chris Llewellyn netted either side of a Wes Baynes brace at Sincil Bank. A Steve Evans own goal and a Ben Wright strike scoring for the hosts.
STAGS LOSE FIGHT & FOOTBALL LEAGUE STATUS
Mansfield have been relegated from Coca-Cola League Two after Chester earned a point against Stockport tonight in a goalless draw.
With West Brom not playing until Monday evening, Stoke head the Coca-Cola Football League Championship with one game to go.
Stoke could have been promoted but for a late Hull City winner against Crystal Palace at the KC Stadium. Tony Pulis' men won 1-0 at Colchester thanks to a goal by Richard Cresswell.
Ian Ashbee netted with five minutes to go as Phil Brown's men defeated Palace, who had Scott Sinclair, on loan from Chelsea, on target. Another on loan man, Fraizer Campbell from Man Utd, had put the Tigers ahead.
Bristol City lost again, this time at Sheffield United who themselves could make the Play Off. Gary Speed scored twice, including his 100th career goal, as Gary Johnson's men stutter to the end of the season. Michael McIndoe's first half penalty had put The Robins ahead.
Watford suffered another home defeat at home to relegated Scunthorpe at Vicarage Road. Paul Hayes scored the only goal of the game.
Wolves goal machine Slyvan Ebanks Blake grabbed a point for his side as they drew 1-1 at Coventry to keep their hopes of a Play Off place alive. Chris Coleman's men are virtually safe from the drop thanks to Elliott Ward's effort.
Ipswich could still make the Play Off after Jonathan Walters goal three minutes from time earned them a point at Preston. Tommy Miller had put the Tractor Boys ahead, but Chris Brown and Neil Mellor were on target for the home side before Walters late strike.
The big game saw Leicester lose to Sheffield Wednesday 3-1, with both sides missing a penalty. Ian Holloway's side took the lead early on through Iain Hume, but goals by Bartosz Slusarski, Steve Watson and Leon Clarke gave Brian Laws side three valuable points.
Burnley threw away three leads as they drew with Cardiff. Owen Coyle's side had Graham Alexander, Andy Cole and Clarke Carlisle on the scoresheet but Joe Ledley, Aaron Ramsey and Steve Thompson pulled it back for a share of the spoils for The Bluebirds.
Barnsley had SOCCER X INTERVIEWEE JAMAL CAMPBELL-RYCE on target as they romped to an easy 3-0 victory over a Charlton side who have been woeful in the last third of the season.Lewin Nyatanga and Jon Macken also netted for The Tykes.
Norwich also easied to victory over QPR with Ched Evans, Mark Fotheringham and Darel Russell amongst the goals.
Blackpool could still be relegated as they were thumped 3-0 at Plymouth. Jermaine Easter and a Rory Fallon brace gave the Home Park side all three points.
League One - Saturday 26th April
In Coca-Cola Football League One, Champions Swansea hammered Leyton Orient 4-1 at The Liberty Stadium with Guillem Bauza scoring a first half hat-trick. Paul Anderson was also on the scoresheet for The Swans while Orient had Wayne Gray on target.
Carlisle go from second the fourth after they were handed a heavy defeat at Millwall, who had Jay Simpson, Neil Harris and Tony Craig amongst the goals for The Lions, who stay up.
Doncaster leapfrog Carlisle in to second place as Matthew Mills and Mark McCammon fired home to put Sean O'Driscoll's side in with a good chance of automatic promotion.
Lewis McGugan netted six minutes from time to help Nottingham Forest also jump ahead of Carlisle with a win at Hartlepool.
At the bottom, Bournemouth won their sixth game on the bounce as their amazing run continues. Sam Vokes scored the goal that leaves The Cherries just one point behind Cheltenham with one game to go. John Ward's outfit went down to a Lewis Alessandra goal three minutes from time at Oldham, who had earlier taken the lead through Dean Smalley. Steve Gillespie's penalty was not enough to salvage anything for the men from Whaddon Road.
Gillingham look doomed for the drop after Swindon's Hasney Aljofree's 88th minute equaliser cancelled out Garry Richards second minute opener.
Ian Westlake and Glenn Murray gave Brighton a win at Bristol Rovers.
In the other games that did not effect relegation or promotion, Huddersfield beat Walsall thanks to goals by Danny Schofield and Andy Booth, while Port Vale came back from Northampton goals by Ryan Gilligan and Andy Holt to earn a point. Marc Richards and Danny Glover netting.
League Two - Saturday 26th April
DONS CLINCH CHAMPIONSHIP TITLE

In Coca-Cola Football League Two, MK Dons are Champions after a victory at Bradford secured the title.
Jude Stirling and Lloyd Dyer scored in the opening 18 minutes and despite Omar Daley's goal for the home side, Dons win their first ever title.
Peterborough join them in League One next season as Aaron McLean scored his 29th and 30th league goals for the season to fire them to victory at Grimsby. Craig Mackail-Smith and Scott Rendell were also on target for The Posh, while Martin Butler scored for Alan Buckley's men.
The third automatic promotion place goes to Hereford who romped to a 3-0 success at Brentford. The Bulls had Gary Cooper, Theo Robinson and Simon Johnson on the scoresheet.
The Play Off quartet had mixed results.
Rochdale snatched a point at Bury thanks to a 91st minute penalty by Adam Le Fondre after Nicky Adams had put the hosts ahead.
Ex MK Dons boy Jason Puncheon and Cliff Akurang scored to help Barnet to a surprise 2-1 win over Stockport. Young prospect Tommy Rowe netted for County.
Strugglers Notts County and Dagenham & Redbridge both scored excellent victories that mean they stop in the Football League for next season.
Ex Lincoln, Peterborough and Kettering midfielder Richard Butcher scored the goal that gave Notts County victory over Wycombe Wanderers.
John Still's Dagenham came back from two goals down to win an amazing game at Darlington. Ricky Ravenhill and a Mark Arber own goal had put the home side ahead and coasting before Sam Sloma, David Rainford and a Clark Keltie own goal gave the Daggers a fantastic away day.
Jamie Yates fluke goal defeated Mansfield, who must win to survive on the last day of the season if they are to catch Chester City, as Rotherham won at Field Mill.
In the other games, Macclesfield beat Chesterfield thanks to a Gary Evans effort, Ben Wright and Paul Green were on target to give Lincoln victory at Morecambe, who had Matthew Blinkhorn scoring, and Shrewsbury and Chester shared a goalless draw.
Wrexham suffered another home defeat as Accrington ran out 3-1 winners. A Shaun Pejic own goal, Peter Cavanagh and Shaun Whalley had put Stanley out of sight before Neil Roberts' 95th minute penalty.

Wolves ended Cardiff's hopes of a play off place as goals from Andrew Keogh, Sylvan Ebanks-Blake and Michael Knightly boost their own chances. They are now two points behind Neil Warnock's Crystal Palace, in sixth place, with two games to play

Wrexham have lost their Football League status after they went down 2-0 at Hereford United to goals from Gary Cooper and Theo Robinson. Brian Little's side failed to have the X factor, like Halifax, Exeter and Oxford in years gone by as they depart Coca-Cola League Two.
Blue Square Premier - Tuesday 23rd April

Aldershot reached the 100 point mark and the play offs have been decide following Tuesday night's matches in the Blue Square Premier. Aldershot's draw with Weymouth saw them become the first club to reach the magic three figure mark in Conference history.
Stevenage's shock home defeat to struggling Northwich Victoria has ruled them out of a play off place. Peter Taylor's side were behind on the hour to Michael Carr and Joel Byrom goals and although Sammy Moore pulled one back it was not enough to keep the men from Broadhall Way in the promotion race.
A Mark Beesley brace saw Cambridge United join the team they beat, Torquay, in a potential play off Semi Final.
Joining Cambridge in the Play Off are Exeter City who hammered Stafford Rangers 4-1 at St James Park with Dean Moxey firing a hat-trick and Ben Watson also scoring for Paul Tisdale's side. Ishmael Reid grabbed a late consolation for Steve Bull's side.
Burton Albion make up the quartet despite getting well beaten at Kidderminster Harriers 4-1. Daryl Knights got two, while Iysden Christie and Gavin Hurren also netted for the home team. Shaun Harrad got one back for Nigel Clough's men.
Northwich and Halifax were the two big winners on the night. Northwich's win at Stevenage sees them guaranteed Blue Square Premier football next season.
Halifax romped to a fantastic 4-0 victory at Crawley Town as Jon Shaw's brace was sandwiched between Lewis Killeen's opener a a late own goal by Kieran Murphy. The Shaymen only need a point to stay up.
Farsley Celtic look doomed after a 4-1 defeat at York City, who had Martin Woolford, journeyman Leo Fortune-West and a Richard Brodie double on the scoresheet. Simeon Bambrook netted for Celtic.
Oxford had Yemi Odubade on target again as they beat Rushden & Diamonds at the Kassam.
The other two games were drawn as Terry Fearns opener for Droylsden was cancelled out by Woking's Matt Pattison, while Jonathon Smith's 89th minute equaliser for Forest Green saw the game at The Lawn against Ebbsfleet finish all square. Alex Lawless gave the hosts the lead but a Luke Moore strike and a Stacy Long effort put the Fleet ahead before Smith's late equaliser.
Championship - Saturday 19th April
BAGGIES LOOKING DESTINED FOR PREMIERSHIP
West Brom look like they are heading back to the Premiership after they won 2-1 at Norwich in the Coca-Cola Championship.
Albion had Robert Koren and Zoltan Gera on the mark despite Ched Evans, on loan from Man City, giving the Baggies a few last minute nerves.
Hull, who started the day in second, were beaten by Stephen Quinn and James Beattie goals as Sheffield United's excellent end of season form continued, albeit just too late.
Stoke replace them in second after they beat a Bristol City side unable to find any form at all. Mamady Sidibe grabbed a brace before Dele Adebola netted for City, who look like they will have to settle for a play off place.
Another side stuttering are Watford, who went down to Crystal Palace at Vicarage Road. Ex Millwall player Paul Ifill and the very promising youngster Victor Moses fired Neil Warnock's side to victory.
A 94th minute equaliser by Tommy Miller for Ipswich at Wolves keeps their slim play off hopes alive. Sylvan Ebanks-Blake has given the home side the lead but the late goal has dented their chances of going up.
Plymouth threw away a two goal lead as they were held to a 2-2 draw with Preston at Home Park. Jamie Mackie and Paul Wotton twice gave Paul Sturrock's side the lead but Neil Mellor and a Richard Chaplow equaliser in the 94th minute shared the spoils.
Cardiff faltered as they suffered a shock defeat at relegated Scunthorpe. Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink and Joe Ledley scored for the visitors but two Paul Hayes goals, the second a 93rd minute winning penalty, and a Kevan Hurst strike gave Nigel Adkins men the points.
Dexter Blackstock scored for QPR as they beat Charlton at Loftus Road.
At the bottom Sheffield Wednesday and Southampton suffered bad results as the topsy-turvy season enters it's last two games.
Blackpool had Claus Jorgensen and Paul Dickov score the goals to beat Wednesday, who had Richard Wood on target, while Steve Caldwell's goal in first half stoppage time sunk the sorry Saints.
Ian Hume scored for the second week running as Leicester won at Barnsley, while Coventry romped to a 5-1 victory at Colchester after falling behind to a Scott Vernon goal. Leon Best, Daniel Fox, Michael Doyle and two Elliot Ward penalties giving the Sky Blues victory at Layer Road.
League One
FLYING SWANS TAKE TITLE
Swansea celebrated for the second week running, despite a surprise home defeat by Yeovil. Having won promotion from Coca-Cola Football League One at Gillingham last week, they clinched the title at the Liberty Stadium when Lee Barnard's injury time winner for Southend at Carlisle sent them up.
Yeovil had the experienced Terry Skiverton and Aidan Downes on the scoresheet while Andy Robinson scored for the Swans.
Ex Spurs forward Barnard's winner came after Charles Mulgrew had given Southend an early lead. Simon Hackney had equalised before the last minute heartache.
Doncaster failed to capitalise when they were held to a 1-1 draw at Leyton Orient. Mark McCammons' equaliser cancelled out Wayne Gray's opener.
Nathan Tyson scored the only goal of the game as Nottingham Forest beat relegated Luton Town at The City Ground.
Leeds had David Prutton and Andy Hughes to thank for winning 2-0 at Millwall. The Elland Road side need just a win to secure a play off place.
Walsall's play off hopes have blown up after another defeat, this time at the hands of Bournemouth. Danny Holland, Jo Kuffour and a Brett Pittman penalty gave the Cherries another win. Kevin Betsy on target for the home side.
Giles Coke and Ryan Gilligan fired Northampton to victory over Oldham at Sixfields, although neither side can get promoted after today's results.
Gillingham still sit in the last relegation place despite a draw at Bristol Rovers' Memorial Ground. Steve Elliott's equaliser just six minutes from time sunk Mark Stimson's outfit who looked like they were heading for maximum points after John Nutter's first half strike.
As Soccer X predicted in the pre match preview for this game, Crewe had Nicky Maynard in superb form with a hat-trick as Cheltenham now are forced to look over their shoulders. Stephen Gillespie scored for The Robins.
Swindon thumped Port Vale 6-0 at The County Ground with six different scorers. Lee Peacock, Craig Easton, Jack Smith, Anthony McNamee, Michael Timlin and Ben Joyce all scoring in the rout.
League Two
HOT-SHOT RENE INSPIRES ROCHDALE
MK Dons and Peterborough have both been promoted from Coca-Cola Football League Two after both sides came through difficult away ties with maximum points.
The Dons twice came from behind to win at in-form Stockport after Liam Dickinson and Adam Proudlock had given the home side the lead. Mark Wright and Alan Navarro equalised on both occasions within a minute before Dons' Captain Marvel, Keith Andrews, scored the goal to ensure Paul Ince's men left Edgley Park with maximum points.
Peterborough also won a tricky away trip at third place Hereford with Dean Keates scoring the winning goal. Keates won promotion last season with Walsall so it was ironic he scored the goal to give Darren Ferguson's side League One football next year.
Rene Howe scored again as Rochdale secured at least a play off spot with a win over Morecambe at Spotland.
Another in-form striker, Scott McGleish hit the winner for Wycombe against Chester as they too secured at least a play off place.
Chesterfield were held by Darlington and are now unable to make the play offs, unlike their visitors today. Jamie Ward gave the Saltergate side the lead but Tommy Wright snatched a point for the visitors.
Wrexham and Mansfield both secured priceless victories as Dagenham & Redbridge lost as the fight for Football League status gets more exciting!
Neil Roberts gave Brian Little's Wrexham a win over Notts County while a Michael Bolding hat-trick gave Mansfield three points after Shrewsbury had taken a second minute lead through Marc Pugh.
John Still's Dagenham & Redbridge are in freefall after going down to a 2-1 defeat at Rotherham. Mark Hudson and Danny Harrison gave the home side the lead and although Ben Strevens pulled a goal back for the Daggers, the Londoners still left Millmoor empty handed.
In the other games, Accrington Stanley lost at the Fraser Eagle Stadium as Neil Bishop and Michael Leary were on target for Barnet. Grimsby lost again, this time at Bradford. Peter Till had given Alan Buckley's men the lead but Peter Thorne and a 92nd minute winner by Joe Colbeck sunk the Mariners. Elliot Bennet's strike gave Bury victory over Macclesfield, while Lincoln City ran out 3-1 winners against Brentford. Gary King, Jamie Forrester and Lee Frecklington on target for The Imps, with Nathan Elder scoring for the visiting Bees.
Blue Square Premier
YEMI ON THE MARK FOR OXFORD

Champions of the Blue Square Premier, Aldershot, were held to a goalless draw at Halifax and need just one point from their last two games to reach the magic century mark. The first club to do so in Conference history.
Stevenage have lost ground after their Friday night defeat at Burton Albion with Cambridge winning a difficult trip to Salisbury thanks to first half goals by Jack Jeffery and Mark Beesley.
Torquay have secured a play off place following their 0-0 draw with York at Plainmoor.
Exeter are the team to benefit most from Friday night's game as Paul Tisdale's men took full advantage by beating Rushden & Diamonds 2-0 at Nene Park. Adam Stansfield and Ryan Harvey scored a goal in each half as the Grecians leapfrog Peter Taylor's team in to that last play off spot.
At the bottom, relegated clubs Stafford Rangers and Droylsden both suffered defeats.
Steve Bull's Rangers went down 3-1 at home to Crawley Town with Tyronne Thompson, Mustapha Carayol and Jamie Cook scoring for the visitors. Nick Wellecomm had given the hosts the lead.
A double by Daniel Wright gave Histon an easy win over Droylsden at The Glassworld Stadium.
Weymouth took a huge step towards securing Blue Square Premier football for next season as Stuart Douglas' winner two minutes from time gave the Terras a dramatic home win against Kidderminster Harriers. Simon Russell had given the visitors the lead but Chris Blackburn's equalised for John Hollins side.
Farsley Celtic suffered a bad result as they lost at The Throstle Nest to Forest Green with Mark Preece and Paul Stonehouse on target for the away side.
Altrincham also failed to get anything out of their game at Ebbsfleet as Chris McPhee and Stacy Long goals gave the team from Stonebridge Road the points.
Oxford United continued their fine form of late with a 2-1 win at Woking with Yemi Odubade and Phil Trainer on target. Guiseppe Sole pulled a goal back for the hosts.
Championship - Tuesday 15th April

West Brom head the Coca Cola Championship table after winning their black country derby against Wolves by a Zoltan Gera strike.
Phil Brown's Hull City are now in second place after they eased past Barnsley 3-1 at Oakwell in the only other game of the night. Dean Marney's 24th minute penalty set the Tigers on their way before goals from Ian Ashbee and Dean Windass, scheduled to guest on Soccer X, put the visitors out of sight by the time Istvan Ferenczi had scored a 92nd minute consolation.

Play off hopefuls Leeds and Walsall both suffered 1-0 defeats in Coca Cola League One. Rickie Lambert was again on target as Bristol Rovers won at Walsall.
Andy Holdsworth's header fourteen minutes from time gave Huddersfield victory over Leeds as both sides were reduced to ten men. Jonathan Worthington was sent off for Huddersfield while Jonathon Douglas was dismissed for Leeds.
League Two
MK Dons are set to be promoted from Coca Cola League Two after their goalless draw with third place Hereford at the Stadium:MK. The Dons are can only be caught by Stockport but the Bucks side has a very superior goal difference.
Wycombe increased their play off place hopes with a 1-0 win at Grimsby. Sergio Torres 19th minute strike was enough to send the Chairboys five points clear of their nearest rivals, Chesterfield, for sixth place.
Rochdale stormed to a 3-0 victory over Barnet at Spotland. Adam Le Fondre, the in-form ex Peterborough and Kettering hitman Rene Howe and Callum Higginbotham on target for Keith Hill's side.
Championship - Monday 14th April
A Tommy Spurr 81st minute volley gave Sheffield Wednesday a point against Plymouth and moves them out of the Coca Cola Championship relegation zone. Peter Halmosi's deflected free kick had given Plymouth the lead but the draw sees Paul Sturrock's side five points behind a play off place with just three games remaining

In the Coca Cola Championship, Ipswich won their local derby against Norwich 2-1 and go back up to seventh in the table. Ched Evans put the Canaries ahead after just four minutes but an Alex Pearce own goal and a Danny Haynes goal five minutes before the break gave the bragging rights to Jim Magilton's men.
League Two - Sunday 13th April
Wrexham chances of escaping relegation are getting slimmer after Brian Little's side were well beat by Shrewsbury. Kevin McIntyre, Darren Moss and Ex Chippenham forward James Constable on target. The result leaves Wrexham nine points adrift of safety with just four games to go. The omens do not look good as sides relegated recently from League Two have been have all had the X factor! - Halifax, Exeter and Oxford!!

In the Coca-Cola Football League Championship the top spot has now changed an amazing sixteen times this season. With early morning leaders West Brom held at home by Watford, Stoke return to the summit after winning.
Stoke came from behind to win at Coventry's Ricoh Arena after Elliot Ward's penalty had given the Sky Blues a first half lead. Richardo Fuller's penalty and Liam Lawrence's strike eleven minutes from time put Stoke back to the top of the table.
West Brom had a Leon Barnett goal in the second half to thank in a 1-1 draw with Watford. Leigh Bromby scored for The Hornets.
Bristol City drop to third after they were held to a goalless draw by Wolves at Ashton Gate.
Hull City's Michael Turner's 92 minute equaliser denied QPR maximum points after Dexter Blackstock had given The Hoops a 14th minute lead.
Crystal Palace's victory relegated their opponents Scunthorpe as Tom Soares scored his third goal in five games and Clinton Morrison hit his 15th of the season to keep Palace in sixth place.
Andy Gray's 69th minute header saw Charlton held at The Valley by a Southampton side who will be pleased with a point. Stern John was again on target for The Saints.
In the basement battle, Colchester were undone by Ian Hume's 89th minute equaliser for Leicester, who move out of the bottom three, above Sheffield Wednesday, who play on Monday night against Plymouth.
Also facing each other are Burnley and Sheffield United, who could both yet make the play offs, as could
FA Cup Finalists Cardiff strolled to a 3-1win at Ninian Park against Blackpool, who are getting sucked in to the relegation battle. Stephen McPhail, Trevor Sinclair and Peter Whittingham on target for The Bluebirds. Ex Coventry striker Andy Morrell scored for Blackpool.
Barnsley grabbed their second win in four days as they beat Preston at Deepdale. Diego Leon and Jon Macken, who returned to haunt his old club, with a penalty, scored The Tykes goals while Stephen Foster put through his own net to score for the hosts.
James Beattie scored his 21st of the season as Sheffield United won at Burnley to keep their outside chances of a play off spot alive. Billy Sharp found the net for The Blades, while Ex Man Utd, Arsenal and Newcastle forward Andy Cole scored for Owen Coyle's side.
League One - Saturday 12th April
In Coca-Cola Football League One, Swansea's 2-1 victory at Gillingham sees them promoted back to the second tier of English football for the first time since 1984.
They did it thanks to Guillem Bauza's double whammy in first half stoppage time after Dennis Oli had given the Priestfield Stadium outfit the lead.
Leeds scored three vital points against second place Carlisle in a 3-2 win at Elland Road. Dougie Freedman, on loan from Crystal Palace, grabbed a brace, while Jonathan Howson was also on the scoresheet as Leeds over powered their visitors. Scott Dobie and Danny Graham scored for Carlisle. The result could be even more significant as Leeds learn of their fate this week and could be given back their 15 deducted points. If that happens then they leapfrog Carlisle in to second place.
Tranmere missed out as they went down 2-0 at Prenton Park to a Nottingham Forest side who had goals from Nathan Tyson and Wes Morgan to thank for a very good away day.
Fourth placed Southend were held by Northampton at Roots Hall after Ex Spurs goalmachine Lee Barnard gave the home side a point with a second half strike. Colin Larkin had put Stuart Gray's side ahead.
Port Vale and Luton were both relegated after Vale drew 0-0 at Vale Park with Huddersfield and Brighton came away from Kenilworth Road with all three points in a 2-1 win. Ian Westlake and Glenn Murray scored for Albion after Sam Parkin had put The Hatters in front.
Oldham had Chris Taylor and Mark Allott on the scoresheet as they beat Leyton Orient at Boundary Park.
Bournemouth, Crewe and Millwall were all surprise winners at the bottom of the table as the relegation battle reaches an exciting climax.
In the other game, Walsall scored twice in a minute midway through the first half to win 2-1 at Whaddon Road, Cheltenham. Tommy Mooney scored his first goal in 12 games while Anthony Gerrard doubled their lead before Paul O'Connor hit back for The Robins in the second period.
Bournemouth made it four wins in four games as Ex England man Darren Anderton amd Jo Kuffour scored the goals to defeat Bristol Rovers, who had Rickie Lambert on target with his 18th of the season.
Nicky Maynard has now scored eight in six games as Crewe won easily at Yeovil. Tom Pope got the other Alex goal.
Jay Simpson's 11th minute goal gave Millwall all three points in a fruitful away trip to Hartlepool.
