DEV'S VIDEO GOAL ACTION
Be sure to make Dev's page a regular cyberly stop, as we'll not only have Paul's thoughts regards his former sides, but we'll also have some cracking footage reminding us of the talent that earned him 10 Scottish Caps. The GOAL - VIDEO - ACTION will start from next week.
Birmingham City - Premiership
Birmingham City, go down to Fulham for what is a must win game for both teams. after the humiliation of their 5-1 defeat to bitter rivals villa in the second city derby Blues will be desperate to regain some pride. I think if Blues fail to win this game and reading and Bolton pick up points relegation is odds on for my old team. with Fulham in decent form at the moment I fancy them to beat Blues 2-1.
SHEFFIELD UNITED - Championship
Sheffield Utd travel down to Southampton looking to continue their good run of form and hopefully get a play off place. it is looking difficult for them, but all they can do is keep winning and hope those above slip up. with Southampton staring relegation in the face they will be going all out for the victory to insure their survival. 1-1 draw. WATFORD FC - Championship
Watford travel to Blackpool for a game which unbelievably could see them drop out the play off places. Blackpool are not safe yet and will be desperate for 3 points. it will be a very tough game for Watford who's second half of the season is amongst the poorest in the division. I still feel Watford have enough quality to pull through and win this game . 3-1 to watford.Click Dev playing for Watford pic above to go to Watford's OFFICIAL site
NOTTS COUNTY - League Two
Notts County go to chesterfield for what is almost a local derby game. I think 3 more points will see county safe and with Chesterfield 7 points off 6Th place it looks like their season is over. hopefully this will give Notts the edge and they can get that vital win to keep them up. 2-0 Notts win. Halesowen Town - Southern Premier
Halesowen Town have a stiff hurdle to encounter to make the promised land of Blue Square North football. Morell Maison, has enhanced his repuation by taking The Yeltz from 15th, when he arrived, to within one game of promotion. The omens are in Halesowen's favour, having outplayed Team Bath, just one month ago, when winning 3-0 there in the league. 2-1 Halesowen win.
BURLEY GOOD APPOINTMENT FOR SCOTLAND
Think George Burley will turn out to be a very good appointment for the Scotland job, George has had success at club level in England with Ipswich and Derby and before his very public fall out with the Hearts chairman looked like he could threaten the old firms dominance north of the border. The Scotland national team has a very positive feel about it at the moment and although the last qualifying campaign ended with failure the country can take massive pride in some of the performances in what was easily the hardest group with the likes of Italy and France in it. I think George is the man to continue the good work started by Walter Smith then Alex McLeish after a very gloomy period under Berti Vogts. another tough qualifying group looms but i think George and every one in the Scotland camp can look forward to it with great optimism.
